Glenn Wood Hills is a great place where environmental ministries encourage social development, stewardship awareness, and lifelong Christian discipleship in a fun, safe, and caring Christian community.

Glenn Wood Hills is affiliated with Community of Christ, but you’re not required to have any religious affiliation to participate at Glenn Wood Hills. It is our mission to provide a Christian atmosphere and community, and all are welcome here!  

Glenn Wood Hills Camp & Retreat Center does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.

  • Resident caretaker.
  • All facilities completely handicap accessible.
  • 60-person dormitory with shower/restroom facilities.
  • Three acre lake with adjoining shelter
  • Dining hall seating 120+ with fully equipped kitchen.
  • Two additional, large shower/restroom facilities.
  • Recreation area including volleyball area and football or softball field.
  • Open-air sanctuary seating over 150.
  • 13 air-conditioned cabins.
  • Children’s play area.
  • RV areas with electrical, water and sewer connections.
  • Multi purpose building, dividable into two separate classrooms.
  • Swimming (lifeguard not provided).
  • Catch and release fishing.

We recommend a minimum of 1-month notice for groups; however, we may be able to accommodate groups sooner. As we reserve the camp for individuals and groups, you can work with our coordinator to best make a reservation for your event.

POLICY 

  1. The Community of Christ does not allow consumption of intoxicants on any Community of Christ property except where alcohol is being used for religious purposes such as the use of sacramental wine for communion. 
  2. The Community of Christ does not allow consumption of intoxicants at Community of Christ sponsored events at any location. 

We ask that all guests be free from the use of alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drugs while at Glenn Wood Hills Camp & Retreat Center. 

​By special arrangement, smoking may be permitted outside of buildings in designated areas only. ​ 

All facilities are fully handicap accessible. Keep in mind, though that Glenn Wood Hills is an outdoor campground with undulating terrain and uneven surfaces. Although the buildings and facilities are handicap accessible, special provisions (such as golf carts) may be needed for travel in outdoor areas.  

Community of Christ, Glenn Wood Hills Camp & Retreat Center, and the Kentucky-Indiana Mission Center are not responsible for lost, damaged, stolen, or missing items.

This list is put together as a suggestion, but we make no claim as to the real-world representation of this list.  As you know your personal needs, it’s suggested you pack according to your own ability and based upon prior experience.
